Teaching His Daughters The Power of a Kind Gesture

In a bustling town, in Cleveland Ohio there lived a young father named John, who was known for his kind-heartedness and his desire to teach his children the value of kindness. His daughters, Sarah and Lisa, were eager to learn from their father and embark on a journey of spreading goodness within their community.

One summer sunny day, John decided to take his daughters to the local grocery store. As they walked through the aisles, John shared stories of how simple acts of kindness can brighten someone’s day. He explained to them that extending help to others is not just about making them feel good, but it also brings immense joy and gratification to one’s own heart.

As they finished shopping and made their way towards the exit, John noticed a man with two young children following closely behind them. The man appeared exhausted, struggling to manage the grocery bags while tending to his little ones.

John saw this as an opportunity to showcase the power of kindness in action. He turned to his daughters and whispered, “Girls, let’s extend a hand of kindness to this man and his children.”

With wide smiles on their faces, Sarah and Lisa approached the man and politely asked, “Excuse us, sir. Would you mind if we returned the shopping cart for you?”

The man looked surprised at first, but then a warm smile spread across his face. Gratefully, he handed over the cart to the girls, who eagerly wheeled it back to the appropriate spot. As they returned, they noticed the man’s tired expression had transformed into one of relief and gratitude.

Word quickly spread amongst the shoppers about the selfless act demonstrated by John’s daughters. Soon, other people began to approach Sarah and Lisa, requesting their assistance in returning their shopping carts as well. Each person had a sparkle in their eyes, touched by the unexpected kindness shown to them.

Some even offered to pay the girls, but Sarah replied cheerfully, “Thank you, but we’re not here for money. We just want to do acts of kindness for our community.”

As the day went on, John and his daughters continued to lend a helping hand, carrying groceries for those in need, and returning carts with a smile. With each act of kindness, they witnessed the power of their small gestures in brightening the spirits of others.

Through their actions, John, Sarah, and Lisa taught the community a valuable lesson about the beauty of kindness. Their genuine desire to make a difference touched the hearts of many, reminding everyone that a little act of kindness can go a long way.

He was so proud of his girls they went and got ice cream and when the father went to pay a young man behind the counter said it was already paid for by the man with 2 girls over at the table. They sat all together eating talking and laughing. And later John took his girls to the park .

From that day forward, the town embraced John’s example, becoming a place where neighbors looked out for one another, where strangers offered assistance, and where kindness became a way of life.

And so, let us take inspiration from this tale and remember the importance of extending kindness not only to strangers but also to our loved ones. Let us cherish each opportunity to make someone’s day a little brighter, and in doing so, may we cultivate a world filled with compassion, empathy, and love.

Embracing Wonder Over Worry

Embracing Wonder Over Worry: Trusting in God’s Plan

Life is full of unexpected twists and turns, both delightful and challenging. These unexpected events can often leave us feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or uncertain about the future. However, it’s important to remember that everything happens for a reason, and these moments are all part of a greater plan that God has for our lives. By shifting our mindset from worry to wonder, we can find peace, joy, and hope even in the midst of uncertainty.

Trusting in God’s Plan:
When we encounter situations that we don’t understand, it’s natural to question and seek answers. But sometimes, those answers may not come immediately. Trusting in God’s plan means having faith that the answers will be revealed to us at the right time. This trust allows us to let go of worry and embrace wonder, knowing that there is a purpose behind every twist and turn in our journey.

Harnessing the Power of Positive Thinking:
Our minds are powerful tools, capable of influencing our emotions and actions. It’s crucial to realize that we have control over our thoughts and can program our minds to focus on the positive rather than dwelling on negativity. Instead of telling ourselves we’re stupid or incapable, we should reframe our thoughts and affirm our worth. This shift in thinking opens doors to endless possibilities and allows us to see the potential for growth and happiness in any situation.

Finding Joy in the Midst of Challenges:
Life is a mixture of sunshine and rain. There will be days filled with struggles, but within those challenges, there are opportunities for growth and joy. By adopting a wonder-driven mindset, we can seek out the silver linings and actively choose to focus on the joy that can be found in any circumstance. For example, instead of dreading surgery and anticipating pain, we can wonder about the relief and improved health it will bring. Similarly, when moving to a new place, we can shift from worrying about the logistics to embracing the excitement of a fresh start and being closer to loved ones.

Taking Action and Prioritizing Self-Care:
Shifting our mindset is not always easy, and it requires consistent effort and practice. It’s important to remind ourselves daily to choose wonder over worry. This means consciously focusing on what we want rather than what we lack, seeking the positive even in challenging situations, and cultivating a sense of gratitude for the blessings in our lives. Additionally, prioritizing self-care and taking time to nurture our mental, emotional, and physical well-being helps us maintain a positive outlook and face unexpected events with resilience and strength.

By embracing wonder over worry, we align ourselves with God’s plan and open ourselves to the abundance of joy and blessings that surround us. Life’s unexpected events are opportunities for growth, learning, and ultimately, for discovering the beauty amidst the chaos. So let us choose wonder, trust in God’s plan, and approach each day with grateful hearts as we navigate the twists and turns of life’s journey. May you find peace, joy, and endless possibilities as you embrace wonder over worry. Have a blessed day!

Taking God at His Word: Finding Faith and Hope in His Promises

In our journey of faith, we often face challenges, struggles, and unanswered prayers. We may find ourselves questioning why things aren’t happening the way we expect or why we feel weary. However, it’s essential to realize that God’s promises are unwavering and trustworthy. When God speaks, He means it, and we need to wholeheartedly believe in His word even when circumstances seem discouraging. In this blog post, we will explore the importance of taking God at His word, finding solace in His promises, and living a life of faith and hope.

  1. Understanding God’s Plan:
Sometimes, we may struggle to comprehend God’s plan for our lives. It’s crucial to remember that everything happening in our lives is part of His greater purpose. Even when we make mistakes or wrong choices, God forgives us and guides us back to the right path through His word. By immersing ourselves in His teachings, we gain clarity and direction in our lives.
  2. Embracing God’s Love:
We mustn’t view God as a distant figure from an ancient story. He is an ever-present and loving Creator who cares deeply for each one of us. Despite our flaws and shortcomings, He loves us unconditionally. When we truly grasp His love, we can trust Him wholeheartedly and find comfort in His promises.
  3. Holding on to Faith:
Faith plays a vital role in our relationship with God. Even when we can’t see the fulfillment of His promises, we need to have unwavering faith. Believing in what God says, despite the circumstances, demonstrates our trust and reliance on Him. It is through faith that we experience His miracles and find strength during challenging times.
  4. Living in His Word:
The Bible is not just a collection of ancient stories; it is a living and relevant guidebook for our lives today. By immersing ourselves in God’s word, we gain wisdom, guidance, and encouragement. His promises and teachings reflect timeless truths that can transform our lives and bring us closer to Him.
  5. Finding Hope in His Promises:
One powerful way to reinforce our faith is through uplifting worship songs and testimonies. The song “I’ll Take You at Your Word” by Cody Carnes and Benjamin William Hastings is an example of a beautiful reminder that Jesus never fails us. It highlights the importance of standing firm in our faith and trusting God’s promises no matter what we face.

Taking God at His word is an essential aspect of our spiritual journey. Ambassadors For Christ

Good morning, beautiful souls! Today, I want to talk about something close to my heart – spreading the word of God.

You know, many of us may feel inadequate or unqualified to be ambassadors for Christ, but let me tell you a little secret: God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called. He chooses ordinary people like you and me, who have faced hardships and come out stronger on the other side.

Take a look at my own journey. I was an only child, my family was not rich but we had all we needed and I was loved and respected by my parents, but I was rebellious swore like a truck driver all my life , had many friends living family and sometimes I just felt lost.

I went through an abusive relationship, in my 1st marriage but by God’s grace, I found an amazing second husband. And then, I was diagnosed with not one, but three different bone conditions, three different inherited blood clot disorders and many other life challenges in between.

I felt depressed, put on a lot of weight but through prayer and self-discovery, I ended up becoming an ordained minister. Can you believe it? God truly has a sense of humor!

So, my friends, you don’t have to be perfect. No one is. All you need is a willing heart and a desire to share the love and truths of God with others. Your life, with all its ups and downs, is a testament to God’s touch and your strength. That alone makes you qualified to teach and inspire others.

If you think you’re not good enough, smart enough, or knowledgeable enough, let me tell you this: you are wrong. You have the power within you to make a difference. Embrace your unique journey and use it as a platform to spread the word of God.

Let’s come together, my fellow warriors for Christ. Join me in this incredible mission of love, hope, and salvation. We are in this together, and with God by our side, we can do amazing things.

Remember, you are loved, you are chosen, and you are more than enough. Have a blessed day, filled with joy, love, and positivity. 🙏✨ #SpreadTheWord #GodsGrace #EmbraceYourJourney #GodIsGood

We All Get in a Funk Sometimes.

Life can be challenging at times. It can seem like no matter how hard we try, we just can’t seem to catch a break. We may feel stuck in a rut and unable to move forward. However, it’s important to remember that there are ways to get out of a funk and find joy and happiness once again.

One of the most important things to do is to keep looking up. This means to keep your eyes fixed on the positive aspects of life and not to dwell on the negative. By focusing on the good, you can start to shift your mindset and outlook on life.

Another key to getting out of a funk is to do your best. It’s easy to become complacent and give up when things aren’t going well, but instead, strive to put forth your best effort in everything you do. This will help you build confidence and give you a sense of control over your life.

Having a positive mindset is also crucial. When you think positively, you attract positive things into your life. Therefore, make an effort to think positively and focus on the things that bring you joy. Rather than the negative.

Meditation and prayer can also be effective tools in getting out of a funk. Spending time in quiet reflection or talking to a higher power can help you regain a sense of peace and balance.

Exercise is another powerful way to improve your mood and lift your spirits. Engaging in physical activity releases endorphins, which are natural mood-boosters.

Reading your Bible and seeking spiritual guidance can also be helpful. The Bible is full of inspiring stories and messages that can provide comfort and hope in difficult times.

Lastly, helping others can also be an effective way to get out of a funk. By focusing on the needs of others, you can shift your attention away from your own problems and find purpose and meaning.

Forgiveness and Blessing: Keys to Overcoming Our Enemies

Hello Friends!!

Forgiveness and Blessing: Keys to Overcoming Our Enemies

In a world where betrayal, hurt, and harm are all too common, it is natural for us to seek revenge against those who have wronged us. The desire for justice is a basic human instinct – one that often leads us to take matters into our own hands instead of waiting for God to act on our behalf. However, the scriptures teach us a different way to deal with our enemies – one that is grounded in forgiveness, blessing, and prayer.

In today’s message we see God speaking about David’s enemies and promising to “clothe them with shame.” While this may seem like an appeal to our desire for revenge, the real lesson here is about trusting God to deal with our enemies in His own way and time. As Psalm 37:1-2 says, “Do not fret because of those who are evil…for like the grass they will soon wither.”

So what does it mean to forgive our enemies? It means letting go of the bitterness, anger, and resentment that comes with being hurt or betrayed. It means choosing to extend grace and mercy instead of seeking revenge. And it means recognizing that our true enemy is not the person who has wronged us, but the spiritual forces of darkness that seek to destroy us.

But forgiveness alone is not enough. We are also called to bless our enemies – to do good to them, pray for them, and seek their well-being. This may seem counterintuitive, but Jesus Himself commanded us to “love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5:44). By doing so, we not only overcome evil with good, but we also open the door for God to work in our enemy’s life and bring about transformation and healing.

Love Being a Mom and Grandma

As Mother’s Day approaches, I can’t help but feel grateful for my daughter and granddaughter. They are the shining stars in my life, and I am so blessed to have them by my side.

My daughter is an incredible woman who never fails to amaze me with her kindness, dedication, and strength. She has been my rock through thick and thin, and I could not be prouder of her accomplishments.

And then there’s my granddaughter, a young woman who is simply beautiful inside and out. She helps those less fortunate, she earns her own living and has goals. Her infectious smile and caring heart never cease to fill me with joy, and I feel so lucky to have them both in my life.

As we celebrate Mother’s Day, I want to thank these two incredible women for being a constant source of love and support in my life. Without them, I don’t know where I would be.

To all the mothers and mother figures out there, I hope this day brings you as much joy and happiness as you bring to the world. Never forget the impact you have on those around you, and always remember that you are loved and appreciated. Happy Mother’s Day! #mothersday #familylove #gratefulheart
